Software and hardware design

Most of our solutions concerns software which can be declined in appliances. For pure software solutions the hardware requirements are specified in our proposal but don't hesitate to solicit us so that we can build a custom solution with hardware included.

We can provide x86 platforms (Intel, AMD) with several OS: Windows, Linux or even virtualized ones or SPARC Sun solutions with Solaris.

Identity management, referral and directories (LDAP, AD)

A good approach to secure an information system is to set up a centralized user database. We can bring you our expertise of LDAP, Active Directory and other referrals. Our skills are as organizational (which information? provisioning and validation process, providing and revoking) as technical (design, technology, application pairing, search pages, etc.).

Besides structuring the organization the referral must aggregate identities and give a central and unified point of authentication.

Once setup the referral can be paired with new applications, thus defining rights and even SSO.

Messaging

This is the heart of our job. Historically messaging includes information exchange using SMTP, POP3 et IMAP4 protocols. Besides pairing a LDAP directory to manage users and routing, messaging suite evolved by integrating other services like shared calendars or instant messaging. The market still changes in direction of a new unified messaging or by integrating a real collaborative environment.

Unified messaging

This is a solution which aggregates all types of messages (facsimile, e-mails, voice) in a unique point (mailbox).

Web gateway

With a flexible design (explicit or transparent proxy, port mirroring, with WCCP), this service manages users access to the Internet and provides following features:

  • HTTP, HTTPS, FTP proxy

This is a edge service (gateway, often setup in DMZ) with management of the transiting emails which provides some or all of the following features:

  • Rewriting, masquerading, ...

The portal offers users an entrance to the enterprise information system. Our expertise comes essentially from integrative platforms or collaborative portals.
